The rcn speedtest site no longer shows an encoded mac, so I am at a loss as to how to provide it.

Am in the Boston area.
I called Rcn support and all they say is they have to roll a truck. I tell them there is nothing wrong with my equipment it is in the infrastructure outside. I had to talk to a supervisor and she said she would send an email to a technical center. The center called me and said, cannot do, procedure is to roll a truck even if there is nothing wrong in the house. I don't have time to waste waiting for a tech and I have a relative in another state who is severely ill and I need to visit. The woman speaking with me doesn't care if I have no Voip.
If they could absolutely convince me there is an issue in the house, I would have to figure something out, but the policy is roll a truck even if it is obvious there is nothing wrong in the consumer's location.
This is insane, now insane moronic policy. I will try to get a hold of an RCN VP.
