I use lastpass for passwords and I've just noticed that my browser extensions cannot connect to the site. When I try to login through their website I get this error on Firefox: "This site uses HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to specify that Firefox only connect to it securely. As a result, it is not possible to add an exception for this certificate... lastpass.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for *.rubiconproject.com. Error code: SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN"
This only happens when I try to reach them through RCN internet directly. It impacts my Windows PC and my iPhone using WiFi through RCN home router. I do not have a problem accessing the site with the iPhone with WiFi turned off (using AT&T LTE) nor accessing the site using a VPN work connection through my RCN home router.
Web research identifies Rubicon Project as an on-line advertising company.
