Hi all!
I'm here because I'm struggling with an utterly baffling problem. As of today (Monday May 8th), I am no longer able to connect to a friend's site on which my website is being hosted. That site is running on static.rcn.com, and I am using non-business RCN. My encoded MAC from the speed test is "5c4947dd5652b60b264db580c6d388c02fb77a5e".
I've tried connecting to my website (suzannehillman.com) on a Windows and a Mac laptop, a Linux desktop, and an Andriod phone (the phone works if I turn off wifi and use the data connection). I can ping my site and the server (randomstring.org), but cannot ssh to the server nor view the website as both time-out. I've also tried using a wireless connection directly to our router, which shows no change.
Everything else I connect to works fine.
I've been in touch with the online help at RCN, and as far as I can tell anyone _not_ on my network is able to connect there, including the person I chatted with at RCN.
Any suggestions or ideas?
