I moved to a new unit in the same building last week. In my old unit (it's an 8 unit building), internet worked fine. In the new unit, internet keeps dropping out completely. It worked for about a day, then was out, then started working, stopped, rinse and repeat. I've had 3 service calls since last Tuesday, and each time it starts working by the time the tech leaves. I've tried a new modem (I had brought the same one from my old unit), but still have the same drop out issues.
Cable tv has worked fine the whole time.
Is this something from the pole to the box? The line I am using the internet from is a short run directly from the box.
