For the last couple of days, I have been experiencing disconnects for a few seconds on my Internet connection. Yesterday afternoon I figured it was time to reboot the modem and my router. After I did so, the modem appeared to boot normally, showing it was online, but the router showed no Internet connectivity. I tried connecting a few other routers I have to see if the problem was the router, but the result was the same for all of them.
I called RCN tech support. The person I spoke to said it there was a node problem in my area. I should check back with them in a couple of days. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Does anyone have any more info, like an ETA for the fix?
