Hi there. For the last 2 days, my RCN Cable Modem has been rebooting every so often. After the 3rd time of it happening, I had a look on the router log page and I see there are lots of entries saying 'Telnet user logged in from IP address 208.59.216.162.'
as far as I can see that IP address belongs to RCN.
Then there is a entry saying 'Resetting the cable modem due to docsDevResetNow'
I called RCN and asked them if they knew what was happening and I was told that they could see the resets but apart from that, they couldn't see anything wrong. They have suggested to me that I request a technician to come and see if he/she could resolve the problem. My worry is that if I do request and they are unable to see a problem, then it won't get resolved and I may end up with a call out charge.
I have attached a few screenshots of pages from my router and appreciate any advice that can be given.
