I'm currently paying for the 25/2 plan from RCN. I have been getting horrible speeds throughout the day, which shouldn't be happening. According to RCN's customer support, I should be getting atleast 60% of the advertised speed that I am paying for (Or was it 65%. I don't remember since I've called so many times regarding the issue)
I'm tired of going through their customer support and getting the same answer, "everything is fine, it's just high peak hours." or "we do not overload our switches so that congestion doesn't occur".
I had a technician come over to my house today (7/7/13) to tell me that there is nothing wrong with the wiring inside my house since everything is within spec according to the RCN speedtest website. I also had him switch out the cable box to remove a factor of a faulty box. He came to the conclusion that "RCN" would need to monitor my line to see what is going on since he couldn't diagnosis it any farther.

Here are some screenshots of my speedtest today. I don't even know if RCN would consider Sunday, 11PM, "peak hours". I also use a DD-WRT router and looked at the bandwidth traffic to make sure nothing else is going out when I run the speedtest.
