I recently had my TiVo box replaced at the Hyde Park location because I was experiencing the channel not authorized issue described in the thread below.

At the time, neither I nor the RCN's support representative understood that it was not a hardware issue, thus our set top box was replaced. That old box was connected to a TiVo account so I had away access and could set recordings away from home. Now we have lost the connection to the box and neither TiVo.com nor their telephone support were able to add this new box to my account.
