Today I learned of a lost reply sent to me from a gmail account. The original email was a short email I sent with a link to a newspaper article. Years ago I disabled all RCN spam filters when given the choice on the web interface. (I don't use webmail.)
Someone I'm close to works for a computer security company and tells me RCN uses 3 year old anti-spam appliances that are probably responsible for false positives. This is not my first missing email that I'm aware of.
RCN, is it true that you use obsolete anti-spam technology, and if so, why!? When will you upgrade?
Anyone else have experience with lost email on RCN?
