My first year with RCN is coming to an end and it looks like they wouldn't give up hiking the price. As a result I decided to cancel my service (I only have internet). To my surprise they kept saying that there is a minimum notice period of 10 days and they actually need a technician to do this. Is this 10 day period for real or am I being played? Well for me it turned out to be 13 days as the technician schedule was full as well.
As a side note to avoid any headache should I be turning off auto-pay? My billing cycle ends on 31st March.
