Before RCN backed off on the unexplained $55 price increase on the bundle, I made a table for my mother to show her what nationwide HD channels she could retain with Hulu Live TV compared to the Signature TV RCN channels. I think there was 9 channels on Hulu that were not on Signature, and they are not included in the list.

Hulu incles all but one of the sports and news channels that are on Signature.
Hulu has only three movie channels (Lifetime Movies, TCM, FXM) presumably because the video library has plenty of movies. Hulu Live TV is $39.99 for up to two simultaneous streams, and for an extra $4 you can get the library commercial free. If you have a lot of people in your household, it costs $15 for unlimited number of streams and extra time on the DVR service.
Hulu now has 17 million subscribers but it is unclear what portion of Hulu’s subscribers are on the live-TV plan, which includes subscriber video on demand (SVOD) access, as opposed to SVOD alone.
If you miss your VIACOM & Discovery channels, they are available from Philo TV for $16 a month. Viacom channels include Nickelodeon /Teen Nick /Nick Jr /Comedy Central /TV Land /Spike /BET /MTV /VH1 /CMT /MTV2
Hallmark streaming service is $5 a month. PBS costs $5 a month.
RCN signature also includes over 50 standard definition resolution TV networks, none of which are on Hulu. Plus a broad range of OTA channels that are not included on Hulu.
Playstation Vue, Youtube Live TV, Direct TV Now, and Sling TV all have slightly different mixes.
