I returned the RCN provided Arris Modem/Router combo during the pandemic after buying my own modem & router in the end of 2019. It shows on my bill the that I owned the modem for the last 2 years. The office on Ave. C took the modem and didn't give me a receipt and I stood there and said to the lady. "Are you sure?" She said yes it was policy now because of the pandemic but not to worry they will log it in. Now I am getting charged for RCN's mistake.
So here is hope that reaching out here will get some resolution on this because all I keep hearing is you'll get sent a collection notice if you don't pay it. Mind you it took 2 months to cancel because I got charged for another month and I quote "In case I just made a mistake and wasn't really canceling."
