I’m a new astounds customer switched over from WOW! We had the wow tv+ boxes and both worked fine, Astound sent us two of their boxes to replace the wow ones.. they are Pyxis estream 4k iptv boxes with TiVo. One one tv, the new box has always shown hdmi connection not permitted. On the other, which is a brand new one week old tv, it did work for about 24 hrs and now it’s back to HDMI connection not permitted and seems stuck there. I’ve tried every trouble shooting step… I’ve unplugged things and switched out things like cables ect so many times on both tvs it’s insane…. Still the same deal. I tried update the software for the two tv… neither had any updates. I’ve replaced all the HDMI cables, no dice. I’ve even bought two of the little splitter boxes that are supposed to strip the HDCP so it will work. Still no dice. There is a truck roll scheduled for Sunday but I don’t think they will be able to get it working either. I’ve found all kinds of stuff online regarding this but it still doesn’t work. I’m frustrated (especially after having internet out for 4 days) and the phone support doesn’t seem to completely understand the issue. There has to be something else to fix this. Please help, I think I’m literally going insane trying to get this to work.
