After a service call the tech traced the problem a few poles down from me, waterlogged cable, he said. Since we had a long wait for an available tech, the service rep gave us a $15.00 discount. We get our next bill with the discount and a surprise $15.00 increase in the monthly fees.
I have no problem with RCN people or their techs but their corporate policies stink.
After more then 15 years with WOW and less than 6 months with RCN it might be time to mosey along and get some discounted prices.
