Am I the only one noticing a serious deterioration in RCN/Astound phone technical support availability? In general, even during the early pandemic, you would call and someone would take the call within 5 minutes, I just called, had to convince the robot that I did not want to reset the modem (my call had nothing to do with my connection), which took several tries — then was told by the robot that there would be a 20 minute wait. I gave up after 40 minutes on hold. The hold itself keeps creating a false hope by acting as though someone is about to answer (elevator music stops, you hear clicks), only to repeat the original recorded message and start a fresh cycle of waiting.
