I'm curious why RCN isn't a listed provider for FOX-TV's new FoxNow website/app viewing system. Without it trying to catch up on some shows is nearly impossible (X-factor allows you to watch without logging in if you wait until 30 days after air date). In a similar vein why does RCN not offer FOX or CBS shows via set top VOD? I presume the obvious answer to these questions is more along the lines of "costs" rather than having the capacity or technology to work with these companies to provide services to RCN's customers. RCN folks, without giving away too much, can you tell us if this is something that is being worked on/negotiated or has it been shelved for the foreseeable future and I should I stop holding my breath? Is there a list anywhere that lists the apps/websites RCN users can watch content from? I know I can watch CNN live on their app, some USA show's episodes on their app, and CBS's new app has full episodes of most prime time shows on demand about a week after air date. I feel like there's more out there I'm likely missing... Yes, I realize most of my frustration about this should be shared with the networks for putting such nonsense DRM in place at all, but surely it can't cost significant;y more to offer additional on-demand network programing or app login access than it does for the latest political channel (BLAZE) or sports channel (FoxSports1) that seem to keep popping up.
