I live in the Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago in an apartment building and have had horrible connectivity for too long. Wondering if it is isolated or if others are experiencing. Also wondering if anyone has any advice on how to get my third tech to actually fix the problem this time.
First tech came while the internet was working so he changed my router and that was it. Problem persisted.
Second tech was suppose to be a supervisor and fed me some nonsense lies about the coax. He simply cut off the ends and put new ends on. Splitter never switched. Modem was replaced as well as router. Problem persisted.
Now I have a third tech coming who is also suppose to be a supervisor. Guy on phone won't guarantee the work they are going to do. Can't even assure me that they will continue to work on it until it is fixed. I had a request made to check the outside wiring. Inside wiring I have to pay for.
Anyone having similar issues?
