So, I am currently with another cable company who digitized their cable signal. Now my TiVo has not worked for two weeks so I decide to contact RCN about a package deal as they are my only other option. Their monthy pricing is a few dollars less than what I am spending now, but they inform me that my credit score isn't high enough for them, so I'll have to pay $150 security deposit for the equiptment. What? I just bought a brand new 2013 $30,000 car in August and my credit score was fine for them. Plus they want to charge an additional $50 for a technician to come out when I can set up the equipment myself. So now I'm stuck, either no TV service or shell out $200 just to set up new service. And they wonder why we don't like cable companies.
